Independent areas

Areas that were once part of the Empire but claimed their independence after the Haram War. Most are now city states and small kingdoms. Though others, like Valen and Trien are mainly un-inhabited due to post war destruction. No major nations claim actual ownership of these lands anymore. They are also sometimes referred to as "the eastern counties".
