[edit] Cronians and Loris
It was the favorite target of the attacks of the bands of Dionades when searching for fresh flesh to offer their gods. However, Cronians never attacked Loris, as they know dionades only wanted to turn their victims into savages, not to really hurt them. What they really did was to prepare antidotes against the poisons of the dionades, so dionades were unable to enchant cronians and cronians were able to enjoy the dance and festival that dionades bring with them. Dionades also used poisoned arrows to turn their victims into Dionysus's followers, and as the poison goes directly to the blood stream there is not antidote for this method, so they always were cronians who ended turned into dionades and satyrs.
A high mount of young cronian women end turned into dionades, specially if they were not consecrate to Artemis, while men are more resistant to the poisons and spells of the dionades, this creates an unbalanced distribution of population by genre, being the most cronians men and the most lorians women. In towns near the borders, dionades are the only women that men can mate with, forcing them to join to the lunar orgies if they even dream with having children. Men usually agree to not mate with dionades that had mated other man, in order to keep a monogamic state and be able to tell who child is child of who. However, they can not prevent the god Dionysus from mating with dionades, and many "children" of cronians are discovered to be sons of this god when divine and/or animal features begin to show up when they are teenagers (i.e. ears of deer, power over the plants and Earth, horns, the hair turns green and is replaced by vines and leaves, etc). However, many children would show one or two special features when growing as their mothers(dionades) are themselves animalized humans and/or daughters of the orgiastic gods of Loris.
[edit] Civilization
In the places far from Loris, and in the biggest cities, Cronee had gotten an advanced level of development, thanks to the presence of arts-and-wisdom-related gods, Athena and Hepahistos. The most artworks feature beautiful dionades seducing a young cronian, a manifestation of the influence of the dionades of the cronian life.
[edit] Projects
A king named Thoruok planned to invade Loris and to restore the civilization on that place, however, Aphrodite mated with him a night, and, as any mating with a orgiastic god or goddess lead to the satirization of man, the king was turned into a satyr. As a satyr, he tried to start a royal cult to Venus and Demeter in Cronee, but he was quickly deposed by his brother, inspired by Athena. Anyway, there are many places on rural Cronee where this cult is performed, even although it is banned as it turns the participants into savage spirits like the dionades.
Anyway, the brother of Thorouk was wiser and did not plan to invade Loris, not wanting to annoy the goddess Venus, as she would mate with him hidden into a dream to turn him into a crazy satyr just like his brother got.
Aprhodite gave birth a son of Thorouk, named Roukam, who deposed his aunt to restore the original dinasty. However, to prevent the rage of Athena, he did not push for the creation of an official cult for his mother. He was not 100% human, as son of Venus he had wings of a dove and eyes of a swan, even having some divine powers, and this was a backlash in the reactionary families of north Cronee, who believed strongly on the strict separation between gods and humans (push on by Athena). They created an athenian kingdom on north Cronee. However, the kkingdom was reunified by the son of Roukam, who did look like a human and did not have any visible power.
[edit] Location
It is located near Whora lake, north of Loris. It includes a rocky island in the center of the lake.
