Bjæwn is a valkyrja of Eversky who travelled into the Gaard, and by fate, became an integral part of the Saga Hrundinga. She was a tall valkyrja, standing at six feet, two inches. She was the earliest owner of the Ægishjalmer. Her life was a violent and bloody one, often by mistake. She was tricked into killing her brother, Ecgtheow, by the Wierd of Orkney, who had enchanted him to look like a giant white wolf. The Wierd then put it in Bjæwn's mind to slay the wolf. Once dead, her brother reverted to his human form. Bjæwn, crushed by what she had just done, swore vengeance on the Wierd, who had all but disappeared.
