A dynasty is a House that has been around for centuries, and has massive political standing and influence. Dynasties also have large households and often own multiple estates, each with its own relations. Conflicts between Dynasties can last decades and many result in more than one death. Though these small feuds are not allowed to last long, they can be costly to a Dynasty's members.

Daughter of [[Empress Talis]] and granddaughter of the great [[Evestin Tir'Sen]] Cyrlis was a ruler whom brought much misery and destruction to the Empire.

=Appearance=

Medium height, blond(dyed white) and blue eyed woman whom always wore white robes, often lined by golden thread.

=Biography=

From a young age Cyrlis had been recruited into the ranks of a religion known as "The Eternity" and was proclaimed a "Disciple of the Eternal Mother", Talis considering this a childhood fad saw no need to repress it until it was too late. As a Disciple Cyrlis customarily dyed her hair white and wore only white robes, a tradition which she continued to follow even as Empress. And so on her coronation she decreed "The Eternity" as the official Imperial religion and all others were as of then banned.

The public reaction was mixed though in general violent as mobs formed throughout the Empire either protesting or supporting the new act which according to critics "repressed the people's free will". Once again the border Kingdoms revolted in an explosion of fire and ash though after a short conflict peace was restored. Temples of the "Eternals" sprung up in all major cities and even in the countryside as the worshippers of the "official" religion flexed their newfound powers. Eventually however this became too much for the people of the Empire and the first Imperial Civil War erupted four years later effectively tearing the Empire in two.

The 19th legion lead several others to openly declare against the Empress, they had brought down a false ruler before, why couldn't they again? Within a month the entire Empire was at open war with itself. Nobles, peasants and soldiers alike were split between the two sides mercilessly killing all in their way. Eventually those defending the Empress and her regime were pushed back to the Capital where all that was left of the Loyalist forces gathered. As the reformists gathered for the final push a man mounted the walls with a flag. A great cheering from within the walls was heard and cries of "The Empress is dead! Long live the Emperor!" echoed out of the city. The Rerformists, fearing a trap waited until suddenly the gates of Essus crashed open and a stream of citizenry spewed forth. Empress Cyrlis Tir'Sen had been slain by her own supporters and thus the religion known as "The Eternity" was banned from the Empire as a Regent and then Empress took the throne bringing forth a new era and leading the way into an age of peace once again.

He tried to convince the people of his right to the throne, though, as he had no proof, the people were not willing to believe him. Evestin was once again imprisoned for a short while, and after a beating, he was set free. As the war drew on Evestin became more and more stressed and his paranoia of the Elven nations increased. The Emperor was in [[The Buskan Isles]] overseeing the signing of a treaty when the Homeland was destroyed in a cloud of magical energy. This was the final blow, and as the war came to a close Evestin begun the construction of vast defenses in fear of an Elven counterattack and was surrounded by heavily armed guards at all times. It is said that other than his small family only one thing kept him sane and that was his good friend Karldin. As Evestin dwindled and sank into the darkness of old age Karldin departed across the sea on an exploration to the forgotten continent. As Karldin was reported missing a year later the Emperor entered a depressive state and eventually died a month later.

During the long and bloody Haram War; the Ivral, in an attempt to deal an overwhelming blow to their enemies created a spell which backfired. Their efforts to stop the renegade spell only served to mutate it from a Spell of mass destruction into a soil obliterating charm. It wiped the soil away and left kilometers of sand. The Empress, hearing of this attack diverted three entire legions to the control of Kridea. Entire towns were massacred and burnt as the legions cut a bloody swath into the province. Hearing of this the powerful Katarian lords and those under them rose too and collectively formed an army with the intent of killing every Disciple and Soldier of the Eternals within the province. As Avon and the Border Kingdoms joined Kridea and Katar, Cyrlis finally recognized the threat and set all of her legions on the advancing rebels. -	''WIP''	+	During the entirety of Cyrliss reign nothing was known of her personal life, had she had children? Was there a husband waiting to take the throne? The people automatically assumed the next ruler would be an Emperor, one whom would return prosperity to an Empire shuddering under the weight of two great wars within 100 years. Yet despite the cold hearted Empress's personality she did have a husband and in fact a child, but a daughter. At six years old Darlis was in no position to become the leader of an Empire which had recently attained a hatred of female rulers and the people might simply revolt again. So the heir to the honorable line of Karldin: Aelin il'Ren took up the position of Lord Regent and steered the Haram people out of the darkness and into the light. Seven years later it was decided that the new Empress Darlis must take the throne now or never as the people had forgotten the evils of Cyrliss and perhaps there was still hope for the young ruler. In 1,314 A.F. Empress Darlis took the throne.

		+	Under Darlis the Empire returned to its old self as war torn towns were rebuilt and destroyed roads were fixed and finally the forests and hills of [[Avon]] re-grew to their former splendor. While Darlis was not a great ruler whom performed amazing acts of governance she did manage to be the one and only completely stable ruler for more than 90 years. So that none would forget the Century of the three Empresses, both the good things that took place and the bad, Darlis constructed a monument to herself and her mothers in the Evestin Square, Essus. It stands to this day, three young Empresses standing back to back with their right hands raised to the sky under the watchful gaze of the great stature of their forefather Evestin. While the sun set on the this period it should never be forgotten to neither historians nor the common man, and now a new age of light had begun.

Unlike the rest of the world whose language is based on that of the ancient Goblins the Elves at one point used a complex pictorial language that paved the road for their current phonetic alphabet which is based around similar principles. Unfortunately ways to speak this older language properly have been lost to time and so it remains only in the most ancient of Elven literature. 		+	Elves are quite similar to humans on the outside. While their hair and eyes are sometimes more exotic shades and they tend to remain thinner in a contest of physical ability both races would end in a tie. Instead it is in magic that elves are superior, while the citizens of the empire are capable of minor magic such as manipulating objects and creating fire most of the elven race can do much more. Often this advantage is attributed to the fruit of the Illuth, an orange fruit from a species of tree common in the twin forests Since each elven settlement is based around one or more Illuth the entire population consumes this fruit on a daily basis as it is considered healthy for the body and mind, it is so revered by elven culture this type of tree and fruit has undergone intense testing by mages of all races. The results however and inconclusive.

		+	While similar to humans mentally in ability it could be said that elves think differently. The Elven race as a whole has always steered itself towards a trader society and in fact much of its wealth has been made off commerce instead of dominance of territories. However within every people there are deviants and in elven society these are often much more pronounced. Lately driven by both the decline of their civilization and the teachings of the long dead xenophobe [[General Eiln]], groups of elves have gone about forming an organization named the [[Cultural Reformists]] whom believe ever since [[The Haram War]] elven society has become weak and change is necessary for the survival of the Elven race. This group often called "[[Dark Elves]]" are growing in power and perhaps given the right circumstances their dream of a cultural revolution may come to pass.

		+	The culture of the Elven race is one of the more unique on Kaile as it remains mostly separated from the expansionist [[The Haram Empire\|Haram]] and has had a particularly violent history with them. As a result its customs have remained almost unchanged over the centuries.

		+	At some point in elven history veiled by time an elf planted a seed, a seed which would set the base for his culture over the next few thousand years. Elven culture revolves around a species of tree known as the Illuth whose fruit is believed to have beneficial magical properties. Every elven settlement is formed around an Illuth tree, without one a village, town or even city may not exist. When it dies each family around the tree leaves breaking all communal bonds, as a result when an ancient tree passes entire cities may break up and leave resulting in a huge population shift and the occasional abandoned, overgrown city. The only city to have never experienced this fate is the capital where in the city center over one hundred Illuth trees grow over the trunks of their ancestors. Here, every time a tree dies another is planted and so there is always at least one tree still alive. Should this last tree die the entire elven nation would be shaken to its core, there has always been an Illuth in the center of the capital beyond written memory. Illuth live an average of 300 years before dying and produce fruit all year round.

One of the major three races in [[Kaile]] the Elves are a people in both in a decline and a renewal. While biologically relatively similar to their Human counterparts, culturally both are almost worlds apart. Due to their literal separation from most of the world for near 1,000 years during the reign of [[The Goblin Empire]] Elven civilization was untouched by the Goblins and thus their culture evolved along different paths. Unlike the rest of the world whose language is based on that of the ancient Goblins the Elves at one point used a complex pictorial language that paved the road for their current phonetic alphabet which is based around similar principles. Unfortunately ways to speak this older language properly have been lost to time and so it remains only in the most ancient of Elven literature. During their expansion out of the Granite mountains the Elven race came into contact with the constantly expanding [[The Haram Empire|Haram Empire]]. As its power grew and came to overshadow Elven civilization an alliance was made with the dragons and the greatest of wars ensued.
